Shopper District is for independent shops selling things they make, design or curate, honestly described. Here's what's welcome, what isn't, and what every listing needs.

What you can sell

Made by you

Handmade pieces, made-to-order work and personalised items made to each buyer's instructions.

Designed by you, made with a partner

Items you design that a production partner (a printer, for example) makes for you. Say so in the listing.

Digital downloads

Your own digital work, or content you're licensed to sell, delivered as the files you upload.

Not allowed

What you can't sell

We remove listings that break these rules, and may suspend shops that do.

Anything illegal or unsafe
Counterfeits, or branded goods you're not authorised to sell
Items that copy someone else's designs, artwork, characters or trade marks
Weapons, drugs, tobacco, vaping products and alcohol
Medicines and medical devices
Hazardous materials
Live animals, and products from protected species
Adult content
Hateful or discriminatory items
Stolen goods, or anything else you don't have the right to sell

Every listing must

Describe the item accurately.
Use photos of the actual item, or a faithful picture of it for made-to-order work.
Say if a production partner makes the item.
Show the price, postage and processing time you'll honour when someone orders.

Who can sell

You must be 18 or over and legally able to run a business in the country you sell from.
That country must be one where Stripe can pay you; you'll see this when you open your shop.
One seller account per person, unless we've agreed otherwise.
Business sellers must follow the consumer, product-safety, distance-selling and tax rules that apply to them.

Selling fairly

Keep sales on the site: never ask buyers to pay you another way.
Reply to messages and refund requests within the times shown in Shop Manager.
Respect buyers' legal rights, and your own return policy. See Returns and refunds.
