Cookies, kept to a minimum

Shopper District uses only the cookies it needs to work and to remember your choices. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and sponsored banners set none either.

The cookies we set

sd_basket	Keeps your basket if you add something without signing in. Signing in moves the basket into your account and removes the cookie.	Lasts: 60 days
display_currency	Remembers the currency you chose to see prices in.	Lasts: 1 year
sellerListingsView	Sellers only: remembers list or grid view in Shop Manager.	Lasts: 1 year

Paying with Stripe

When you pay, Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages to keep payments secure and prevent fraud. They're covered by Stripe's privacy policy.

Other things stored on your device

Install prompt. If you close the “install our app” suggestion, your browser remembers that (as “sd-install-dismissed”) so we don't ask again.
Offline page. Our app keeps a few unchanging files, such as the logo and a “you're offline” page, so it can show something without a connection. It never stores your pages, orders or details.

Counting visits without cookies

We count page visits to see how the marketplace is doing, without cookies and without following you around other websites.

Your choices

You can delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. The site won't keep you signed in without the session cookie, and a guest basket won't be kept without the basket cookie. Questions? Contact us.
