The Etsy alternative
No listing fees, nothing taken from your postage, no ads you can't opt out of, and no VAT added to our fee. Sell here alongside Etsy, or instead of it.
Fees on one sale
£20.00 item + £3.50 postage
including £0.59 VAT
no VAT added
If the sale came from one of Etsy's Offsite Ads, Etsy would take £7.75.
The real cost of Etsy
Every Etsy sale pays a listing fee, a transaction fee on the item and the postage, a payment processing fee and, in the UK, a regulatory operating fee.
Then, if you haven't given Etsy a VAT number (and most small makers aren't VAT registered), Etsy adds 20% VAT to every one of those fees, card processing included. It comes out of your Etsy payment account, with a VAT invoice each month, so it's easy to miss.
Here is one £20.00 sale with £3.50 postage, fee by fee. Our side has no VAT added, and nothing taken from the postage.

Why sellers move
You don't have to leave Etsy to try us: list on both and see where your customers come from.
List as many items as you like. Listings run for 4 months and renewing them is free, so a slow seller never costs you a penny.
Etsy takes 6.5% of the postage you charge, and card processing on top. We take nothing from postage: our fee is on the item price only.
Etsy adds 20% VAT to every one of its fees for UK sellers who aren't VAT registered, which is most small makers. Our fee is 3% + £0.20, and that's all that's taken.
We never charge you for ads you didn't choose, and never take a share of a sale because it came from an ad.
Side by side
We'd rather you weighed it up clearly than took our word for it.
